Rebels To Host Fan Appreciation Night

The Tampa Bay Rebels have announced that ALL fans will be admitted free for the regular season finale on July 13th as they face the Palm Beach Knights. The game will be played at Freedom High School in New Tampa, located at 17410 Commerce Park Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33647 and will tipoff at 7pm. The Rebels have worked their way to a 9-2 record and lock up sole possession of first place for the regular season against the Knights before heading into the playoffs to defend their 2012 Florida Basketball Association Championship.

With a team comprised of former professional and collegiate players, the Rebels bring an exciting style of play to the court each game. Cory Lemons, a former NCAA Division III All-American at Cabrini College in Pennsylvania, leads the team with an average of 24.3 points and 9 assists per game, while pulling in an impressive 8 rebounds per game. Versatile wing Stan Bufford, who played at Western Michigan before playing professionally overseas, has been an important part of the Rebels success by scoring over 19 points and grabbing almost 8 rebounds per contest. Chris Stephenson, a Punta Gorda native who played collegiately at UNC-Asheville and also spent time overseas, has also been impressive in his first season with the Rebels averaging almost 17 points, and just over 8 rebounds per game this season.
