The Tampa Bay Rebels won their 3rd straight game with a 136-120 victory over the Florida Flight this past Saturday. Holding a 10-point advantage at the beginning of the second quarter, the Rebels outscored the Flight 41-23 in the second period on their way to a 69-41 halftime lead. Tampa Bay knocked down 21 of 22 free-throws down as they improved to 4-1 on the season.
Brandon Davis led the Rebels with 39 points, knocking down 9 three-pointers, and grabbed 5 rebounds, while Jermaine Bell scored 25 points to go along with 14 rebounds, 4 blocks and 4 assists. Joe Katuka picked up another double-double, scoring 19 points and hauling in 11 rebounds, while Bryce Kachinski hit 4 three-pointers on his way to 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds on the night. Guard James Devlin added 10 points and 4 steals off the bench, and Cory Lemons played a solid all-around game, finishing with 9 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds.
