Rebels Host Atlanta Aliens in Exhibition

The Tampa Bay Rebels hosted the Atlanta Aliens on Saturday, November 1st at the Police Athletic League facility in Tampa. Local fans showed in good numbers to see the exhibition contest between the two teams. The visiting Aliens wasted no time in seizing control of the game by dominating the boards and using their size and speed to jump out to an early lead that they never lost en route to 99-121 road victory.

“The Atlanta Aliens are one of the best teams in the Southeast; Coach Richards always has his guys ready to play at a high level. This was a great opportunity for us to look at new players trying to make the Rebels roster for 2015,” Rebels Head Coach Fernando Rojas commented.

The Tampa Bay Rebels will play an open schedule during the 2014-2015 season that includes games against the best minor league teams in the country and a 2015 International Tour. The Rebels will hold additional open tryouts in the spring and summer with dates to be announced at a future time.
